Veg plants in our B&Q haven't been reduced despite many looking like they're on their last legs :( I went in for compost but gave in to temptation and bought 2 butternut squash as the ones I planted never came up also got 3x£3 trays of bedding plants for just £2.

Our B&Q were selling trays of cabbages for 10p a tray! Originally £1.78 a tray, reduced to 50p then down to 10p.

Got about 40 cabbage plants for 50p (Myatt's Offenham Compacta), I believe they are over wintering ones so I'll stick them in if I have a spare bed.
It's all too much!

B&Q cheap veg plants
Saw the post on here re. cheap cabbage plants, popped into my local B&Q to get some. Sure enough January King 8 for 80p. Checked the polystyrene strip and hey ho there was 12 in it. Looked at the Sweet corn and Runner Beans 1.78 a strip or 4 strips a fiver. 1 strip of sweet corn had 18 plants the other 16. The beans had 12 &14 in them Bargain . All of the strips clearly stated 8, So is this a store code or was i just lucky? By the way the sweet corn & beans look realy healthy.

Think they must sow more in the pack just in case I picked up:

36 Carrott - 80p
13 Cauli -  50p
12 Brussels - 40p
30+ Onion - 20p

All looked a little thirsty, hence the reductions, gave them all some food, and planted out a day later and the only problem is - I've run out of room!
My thought process is NOT illogical...It's just a form of intellect so amazing it has yet to be appreciated by mainstream society ;)

Save the earth.....It's the only planet with chocolate ;-)

I've merged this thread with the other one on cheap B&Q plants so that we only have one thread going at a time  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Homebase reduced some veg plants as well - picked up some celeriac and sweetcorn for 50p a strip.  Thought it was worth trying them
