Greenfly infestation
« on: April 29, 2006, 23:21 »
Well this morning i had a greenfly infestation in my greenhouse (mostly on my fuchsia cuttings) I think ive sorted the problem but in an unusual way... SMOKE i put a container over trays/pots a lit a bit of newspaper so had alot of smoke in there.. left it for about 1/2 hr, and now at 23:20 there is no sign of any greenfly apart from all the dead ones on top of the compost hehehe any1 else done that b4?

Way to go!

I'd have been messing about with soapy water and yellow cards. This sounds much easier and cheaper too.
