Can somebody please direct me to how to send a message to someone.   I have tried, unsuccessfully of course, and I have looked on the notice board. Any advice, regards  Mrs Bouquet

Click on their name to get the profile up, then chose the actions tab and then on the left hand side under their name there is a link to Send PM.  Click on that and you get a form for your message ...  Simples, if you know where to look!  Hope that helps ....

On a PC/Laptop it is easiest, I think, to find a post of the person you want to message and under their name/avatar picture, at the bottom right of their detail box, there is a little message bubble. Click on that and the message page opens up for you.
It may of course display  differently on a phone
