Large Moon - a Beaver Moon
« on: November 04, 2017, 20:58 »
Out in the garden I noticed how bright and large the full moon looked  :) Gurgling tells me it is a Hunter (or Beaver) moon.

Next month in December 2017 the full moon and perigee (closest point) come even closer together to stage the largest full moon of the year on December 3.

I'll have to try to remember to look out for that one  :)

It was quite impressive!

Saw a fox running long the road in the moonlight last night... hope he knew it was a hunter moon 😀😀

took this next day on the phone/ scope

Tyco crater in full view, seeing conditions not that good with the bonfires and fireworks leaving a smokey atmosphere.
