England.... World cup winners finaly
« on: October 28, 2017, 17:56 »
Yep our U17s have just won the World Cup beating Spain 5-2 in a great game to match the U20s lads in June when they won it. Just need the seniors to match them juniors.
Fantastic performance lads.
Bring the trophy home...

Punk isn't dead...it's underground where it belongs. If it comes to the surface it's no longer punk...it's Green Day!

They were a great example of playing with huge team spirit and sportsmanship too.  Well done to them 🤴🌟

Now we just need a way of bringing the juniors on and into the seniors team, rather than the Premiership teams continuously buying players from overseas whilst overlooking home grown talent. One reason the national team doesn't do well is that most of the top Premiership players are from overseas, so the England team has to pick from the home players further down the Premiership or in lower leagues, and we wonder why we aren't competitive. Once you lose the Rooneys and Beckhams, you need equivalent home talent to replace them, where is it coming from?
