Bottling Pears
« on: August 25, 2017, 09:11 »
We have some Conference (?) pears and we'd like to bottle them

At what stage of ripeness is it OK to do this?

Best when they are still slightly hard. They make an excellent bottled preserve, and an excellent pickling subject too
