Thanks madcat, if only more people thought about not passing it on, particularly this close to Christmas.

I have to confess that after getting back in late last night, I ate a whole can - straight out of the can with a spoon   Terrible I know, but they were good  :D

HM pasta tonight with HM tomato sauce to atone for my bad dining yesterday  :nowink:

More marrow fest tonight.

I knew another was going so thought, I'll just get that down before I deal with this washing .... oh, that other one looks like it is hanging over the edge of the shelf not sitting on it.   ???  Perhaps that one then?  Ugh  ..... splat!!  :( Floor washing time!   >:(  Fortunately missing the clean washing.  ::)

Some pork mince, combined with sage, onion, apple, garlic etc as the stuffing and buttered potatoes cooked underneath.

I had a gammon rasher with bubble and squeak and tomatoes. That used up some potatoes that had fork holes in them and some sorry cabbage. Waste not want not  :D

Sounds lovely!  Mmm..

I had a pork loin chop with beetroot gratin, roast spuds and cabbage.  All hm grown veg .... and bargain cream in the gratin.   (That's my excuse for something so calorific!)

Tonight I have to get my pastry fingers back in shape for the mince-pie-athon that is looming.  So I'm warming up with a turkey and veg pie (turkey wings in the slo cooker - so there will be stock as well) with cabbage.

Lamb shanks in gravy - out of a packet, but I need freezer space and they are about the biggest box.  Mash from plot spuds, plus homegrown squash and greens to go with  :)
