After a day of gorgeous sunshine another cold night out.... but to be expected as it's winter.

I'd be tempted to go out for the evening Paul.

Thanks New shoot but we have some heat although need a new part fitted to the system - will have to wait.

Might visit the library tomorrow or go for a very slow stroll around the supermarket.

Groundhog day: freezing, blue sky and sunshine, but everything covered in a layer of thick frost

Another hard frost overnight and a max of 4C, the sun lured me out for a walk, but it felt very cold even so Brrrr

Groundhog day: 7C, no wind, dull.

7C Wow.... like the Costa del sol!  (Not sure where that is or how to spell it but it sounds warm)

Reached only 6C here today but 16C in the aviary due to the sun's heat. Phew 

I have lukewarm radiators (that's an improvement).....and spare-parts arriving tomorrow.

6C again today but it looks like we're going to get some of the yellow stuff from the sky to warm us all.

A splendidly warm morning! 14C indoors when the cat woke me at 8am.

Outside - not so warm... frost but not so heavy as previous days.

Oh yes!!  Warmest place in the house is the front-porch but not sure I'll stand there to eat my breakfast.
Heating engineer due back this afternoon with 3 parts........ and a bill.  Oh goody.

Its saturday my day off and the sun is out :)its frosty so im in the garden digging the manure in,great to be out side fresh air and freedom wonderful!

Very chilly bright day today, even saw a ball of yellow in the sky, 2 new time in 2 weeks

It was lovely in the sun on Sunday.... but we have a heavy frost tonight.

Daffs are showing all over the place so it won't be that long before the first flash of spring yellow appears.

Everything was covered in a sheet of ice first thing, but now it is melting.  Very grey and dank with that misty wet feel to the air.

Wet and misty here, but still milder than of late.

Forecast is for much colder tonight and for the next few days, so covers to go back on in the greenhouse later.
