I would imagine they cannot tell how long the gas pipe needs to be, or how many fittings you would need, the gas fitter should provide it as part of their service to you.

They could have said though , carnt wait its going all to smooth going to have to be without the cooker fot a few days and now its put back extra day cos hubbys working the dayhe had off to do it .

Any electrical work needs to be notified.
Have a look at the cooker's manual online, it might have something about the gas fittings.

The pipes are standard size we have the pipe on order now good job we zsked cos i thought it would come with the cooker like a washer comes with its pipes , carnt  wait got no patients.

One we got , hes good and recamended , going to get a quote for a larger radiator in the kitchen while hes here two birds one stone sort of thing , i think its allways cold in the kitchen hubby says not but isnt in there as much asme ha ha .

Cookers here all black and shiny  carnt get it fitted till monday and ive got son and family coming for the weekend great oh well got me slow cooker, microwave and a griddle just like indoor camping .

Just watched the vidio im afraid it didnt look very appealing  i will wait till tuesday but thanks for the vidio , have you tryed it , im just enjoying thinking out the box with meal ideas , i did make a few things and froze them but ive got the son and 3 kids for most of the weekend now theres a challenge .

I did a Christmas pud in my old one it was fab , its been invaluable this week we have been tyling the kitchen , new kick boards and beading painted door frames and more , still some bits to do but got familt visiting for the weeken d.

New cooker up and working had to run on e pty to get rid or manufactures smells , used the griddle for dinner and just baked the big scone in the top oven  i have to say im abit nervouse of it silly i know but with new stuff requiring power im allways a bundle of nerves .
my big scone is cooling and is nicly browned with just a little extra brown but i think that was my fault i poped it in while it was still heating up too eager ha ha its chinese  to night .
