Got an email through from VegetableSeeds.net about their 50% sale - nice range and it looks like there is still a lot in stock.

Surely those seed boxes need filling again.....

Well that's all my seeds sorted for next year  all 32 pkts of veg herbs and flowers.   How come they are so cheap I usually get them from garden centres and that and they are anything from £1.50 upwards, most of the seeds I have just ordered were 48p hat a bargain.

Any idea how old the packets of seed are? At this time of year many of the seeds will be "last years stock". Its OK for most things but I've had poor germination with carrots that I kept from last year and lettuces that are now 3-4 years old.

I imagine that they are stock clearance to make way for the next lot. Will let you know when they arrive. 

But at those prices I don't mind getting a few extra to allow for slightly lower germination. And some seed (ie broadies and turnips) will be sown this year.

I agree Surbie at that price you just can't afford to pass them by. Have another order ready once I receive the first one and see what they are like.

Had to laugh when the confirmation email arrived from "support@veg..."

I ordered some, they arrived on Saturday, all ok except the wrong onions had been included - I emailed them asking for the right ones and offered to send back the wrong packets, got an email this morning, my correct seeds were being sent immediately and I shouldn't worry about sending back the wrong ones. Good customer service I call it.
