Title: Sheffield - Roscoe Plantation (Rivelin)
Post by: plotthirtyseven on August 19, 2017, 20:08
Sheffield - Roscoe Plantation (Rivelin)

I have just got a plot, and been on nearly everyday with the kids to clear it off and make a dent in all the weeds and overgrowth.

Anybody else from Sheffield?

Lucy

Good luck with your plot.

Congratulations on your first plot. We are also in sheffield and got our first allotment about 3 months ago over on hagg lane. Very daunting at first but after lots of clearing rubbish digging and strimming we can see light at the end of the tunnel. We even planted our first crops today. Onions and garlic. It's all so exciting. Hope you enjoy your new plot. We love ours. And there are plenty of great folks on here who will answer all your questions.

Hi there Lucy Plotthirtyseven. You'll never look back now you have a plot of your own, as that excitement of eating something you have grown yourself never palls  :D :D

Good there are some other Sheffield people here  :nowink:
