Feeding Grass To Hens

Hi

Can or should I feed grass cuttings to my hens ???. If so what is the best way to feed it to them.
Is there any sound better than contented chickens rosey away, far better tha whale song!

you can, as long as there's been no weedkillers etc on it,  and only in small quantities when it's freshly mowed.  They naturally graze on grass anyway and they enjoy it.  I don't think they'd eat too much anyway. Mine get bored with it and prefer to tug grass out the lawn  :)

If you do give them grass don't leave it in the run for to long before you take it out as it soon goes bad and can make your girls ill.
