These are the pictures of the eggs my broody has sat on for seven day, I think half are infertile and the other I don't know about - help please.
The one I am hopeful about?

 These two have a shadowy shape


2 are like this infertile I think

and this one no real shadow but a couple of lines?

Bit hard to tell from the pics, I think candling is much easier in the flesh so to speak. Fromwhat I could tell would agree the first 3 (especially the 1st) look hopeful. The clear one definately looks infertile. The one with just a couple of lines in it looks like it probably has a blood ring which means it was fertile but then the embryo died early on.

Chuckmum i would say that pic number 4 is defo a dud! i would put others back and candle again on day 18

Thank you, I have two like pic 4, both infertile, I will have another look at the other eggs in a few days ... and see what happens! I'll let you know hopefully with some fluffy chick pics!

I'd also agree with Kate and Nails.  4's not fertile and last one looks a bit dubious too as it doesn't look to have developed to the same extent but I'd leave it until 18days and discard if it doesn't look like the others.

I would think the first 3 are fertile but not the other
