Hi all,

I've listed below all the crops I'll be trying this year and grouped them as I think per rotation group. This maybe wrong so could you check and correct any errors. I am left with a few that I'm not sure where to put them and would also like advice as to the correct rotation method.

Root crops : Potatoes (seperate), parsnips, carrots, onions, garlic, leeks.
Brassicas : Sprouts, cabbage, Cauli's, broccoli, swede.
Salads : Lettuce, spring onions
Greenhouse : Cucumber, tomatoes, capsicums
Permanent : rhubarb, raspberries, blueberries, strawberry and cherry tree.

Others not sure where to put, Spinach, peas, runner beans, sweetcorn.

Any advice greatfully received  :D

Very close. I'd suggest ...

Potatoes:
Alliums:  onions, garlic (already planted?), leeks, spring onions
Legumes : peas, runner beans (some use permanent bed)
Root crops : parsnips, carrots
Brassicas : Sprouts, cabbage, Cauli, broccoli, swede.
Salads : Lettuce, spinach
Other : sweetcorn

Greenhouse : Cucumber, tomatoes, capsicums
Permanent : rhubarb, raspberries, blueberries, strawberry and cherry tree.

And of course, you can plant next to and treat as one block in your rotation, the salads, sweetcorn and the peas together, for evening out areas, depending on how much of each crop you grow.

The main thing is not to have the same crop in the same piece of ground for two years running.

Yes, you can get sophisticated about rotations and you will doubtless receive many constructive answers to your question ...  but just keep that one thought in mind since you might just go mad trying to factor everything in.
