I thought the video was getting it so never checked (grump grump)

I've asked the makers about a DVD - will let you know how that goes but they're bound not to DVD it until it's finished on telly I imagine.
Check out our books - ideal presents

John - I was going to point out you'd just passed 666 in your number of posts but I'd better shut up.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Well I got to see it :)
Quite interesting but obviously made for a different format. Tickled me to see the biodynamic grower using nicotine insecticide, which is really quite a nasty poisonous chemical.
Overall, I think 7 out of 10 but it beats Gardener's World hands down.

Thanks to the BBC - yet again they decided the North West doesn't deserve the programme - managed to catch the second half on satellite.
I think this is a good example of the contempt the BBC have for viewers -

I really can't figure the BBC - they advertise a program then change things around without saying a word. If they don't think it's worth showing then don't but this is just pathetic.
I mean they fill prime time with makeovers and decking and gardeners world growing the odd veg in a designer tin can but a decent program gets kicked about so everyone loses interest.
Mind you, look what they did with Dr Who - ignore the fans, take it off and now they finally bring it back and everyone raves about it.
As for the licence fee - I reckon it's a disgrace. You pay through the nose for a load of rubbish
Time for me to go to the lotty and work off my grumpy mood - which isn't helped by hayfever.

I didn't think this week's was that informative - they're more interested in the "characters" than the allotments.

I've had no response about a DVD - I expect they may if the contract allows.

I quite enjoy what bits I've seen -  reminds me of my favourite saying "Three gardeners and you get four opinions"

I don't think you will hear about it available on DVD, as I read on a site that originally when it aired in 2005, it was axed after 3 episodes. After some complaints they showed it regionally.

I keep missing it, was even hoping a for a resource to download it from the net, but no luck so far.
