comfrey question
« on: May 14, 2008, 12:30 »
I want to feed my toms etc with my own comfrey feed this year.

I have just gathered my first batch of concentrated liquid from a knocked together extractor. Nice dark stuff. However if I mix it one to 20 (is this right) as some suggest I am going to have to make an awfull lot more of it!

Would I be better off making a comfrey tea (would it go further?)

I have lots of nettles too, should I make use of those?

I'd appreciate any suggestions
Thanks

you've made comfrey tea  :D   I think it's best in the distiller cos there's less of it to stink

I made a comfrey "pipe" to distil mine and when it's full (with gloves) I dilute it into the watering can.

Thanks,
I think of comfrey tea as leaves mixed with water. Mind you thinking of it I can't get more out of the leaves than they have no matter what I do
