Composting Buddleia
« on: November 17, 2016, 21:23 »
Have been cutting back some Buddleia and shredding it for the compost heap. Mrs Tenhens has raised the question is it safe to go on the heap?

Have looked elsewhere on the web and someone has commented that composting it will help it spread , someone else has said it's okay.

Advice please.

I have bagged it up ready for either the council bin or the compost.
we also rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, grow own veg

if the seeds are ripe don't put them in, if they at green it is fine!

Thanks for the reply.

I think they are ripe, so will be disposed of via the green bin or tip.
