Leek seedlings
« on: November 12, 2010, 13:57 »
Hi All,

Its me again with another question.  I planted some leek seeds a couple of months ago and had them germinating on a window ledge.  They came up nice and strong and were doing really well, I thinned them out and even ate the thinings on a salad, (they tasted very leeky, lovely) then all of a sudden thy all died.

Any clues what I did wrong? so I can have another go.

Many thanks again for all of your help

Jools

I normally dont sow until mid jan/ feb weather dependant. Not sure what happened to yours in that they all died.
I think DD has an article on his system around the forums somewhere thats very good, my self I use the cheap plastic window sill flower boxes to sow and grow on before transplanting.
Punk isn't dead...it's underground where it belongs. If it comes to the surface it's no longer punk...it's Green Day!
