celeriac leaves?

hi all,i nicked a leaf off my celeriac today ripped it up and it had a lovely celery smell.can u use the leaves in salads? seems such a waste if they are edible .there like big flat leaf parsley leaves ,does anyone use them like this? :)

Yes you can use these in salad: outer ones can be a bit tough though  :)

We've used the leaves in salads, sparingly.

The stems are better cooked and seem to have a stronger flavour than celery - but that could be because they're so fresh.
