I'm sure Wales will put on a good show to open proceedings!  Here's hoping the weather is dry; improves the match and the spectators.   :)

My two dogs are just about recovered from the trauma of all the roaring after Johnny Sextons drop goal.  The roof nearly came off the house 🏡.

oh yes this is the weekend when it erupts on our street

Donna our neighbour happens to come from the land of the dragons, the flags of St.George are starting to appear, the England tops are ironed ready, the beers are in the fridge and the mega phones at the ready and it may be some time before the dust settles after the game

(Oh and this is the only Union game I watch and support)
I am a League fan having spent much of my life in Wigan

I imagine we'd pass each other on opposite sides of the street. I was brought up in St Helens

It was a cracking game, Aled.

Still undecided on 'that' try, but the laws have altered somewhat, and is one hand the same as two on a touchdown?

Always watch this game, it's the best - especially after great players like Merv and Gale were around when I eventually learned what to do...

Congratulations England, well done Ireland and a good result for Scotland. Drank some beer, shouted a lot, and sang a bit. Got home around 12am! Enjoyed though despite the result.

I think Eddie Jones' comments may be back to haunt him!

Well done Ireland - thoroughly deserved.

Just a simple question from a simple person who still doesn't understand all the rules, and probably never will: given that the ball is NEVER fed into the scrum straight why don't they save time by simply handing the ball over (possibly with an optional handshake? )

Probably the precursor to uncontested scrums soon, Jay.

When I was in the front row, the ball had to go in straight, but that was quite a few years ago...

The laws just keep changing 'to make the game faster/more interesting!

Not sure about that, but the game today is more like the seven-a-sides we watched and played in the sixties!

Congratulations Ireland on winning the Grand Slam, well deserved. Wales finish 2nd, under the circumstances I'm quite relieved!
