To reassure yourself I would have a very gentle poke around and see if they are sprouting or whether the mice have got to them.  Well, that's what I do.

My Masterpiece broad beans sown at the end of March are only just showing. Hopefully yours will make an appearance soon- you are in the (relatively) warmer south.
