mummy had 2 chicks hatch 6 weeks ago on sun but she seams really fed up with them now and keep sqwarking ta the others in the big run but babies arnt big enough to go in big run yet, and yesterday she layed an egg not really sure whats happening as completly diff from last time x

Hello Krystal,

It sounds as if she is ready to leave the chicks and go back to the other girls, particularly if she laid an egg.  Most mother hens leave their chicks at about 6 weeks.  The chicks will be OK on their own now. 

I would keep the chicks in their own run a little longer until they are ready to go onto ordinary layers pellets.  Probably around 17 weeks. 

Let mother rejoin the other girls.  You can pop her on the perch in the coop with the big girls when they have all settled for the night.
