Hi Guys
ive bought six Rhode Island Red Chickens fertile eggs and they are in the incubator me and my daughter are chief egg watchers at the moment so see if these hatch...

well done bj /good luck with ya eggs. on a sour note not all first time  hatchings take when its new to those trying to breed a few birds .little things can and will go wrong .check the water conatiner every 4 hours or according to the manufactureres instructions and then still knock an hour off anyways cos things are different in your home to what they are in a factory .above all keep a record  so you can see what your doing   and most of all have fun

Thankyou aww very nice of you to say all that,well I have researched and researched and oh researched some more,we have the thermomenter,hygrometer,incubator chart on the wall pencil there to write records checked every 4 - 41/2 hrs so up to now everything is working out ok by 11yr old daughter is beside herself whenever she walks past,jumping up and down and saying when will they hatch arrggg lol,its really good learning for her too and shes good at it she know EGGsactly what to do,washing hands etc so all good up to now will keep you posted....Fingers X'd
