Got your seed spuds yet?
« on: January 13, 2016, 16:55 »
I've just had an email to say mine are on the way  :D  Cue a quick dash out to the shed to prepare storage space until I start to chit them.

Even if they are just sitting around doing nothing, I still love it when they arrive.  Looking after them and my onion seedlings is enough to let me keep the faith until spring arrives  :D

Mine aren't scheduled to arrive for another 2 weeks yet. Am loving being able to choose the delivery week. With my plots the way they are, they won't be dry enough to plant till April.

Oops, didn't mean to do that!
I start them all in the greenhouse or polytunnel, some go outdoors when its warm enough, the Anya will stay indoors. I only grow my potatoes in 55L tubs.

Don't worry, we understand  ;)

Mine have just turned up and I think I scared the courier in my enthusiasm to grab my box of spuds off him

😂

I have maincrops  but the others are due mid February. I love seeing them all lined up in their egg boxes too.

Have to admit that this year, due to time constraints, I've gone mail order with a certain Scottish company. Prices quite good and carriage not an arm and a leg.

The price was a only bit on the high side due to me getting carried away as usual - 9 varieties -32 kilos!

Delivery early February.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
