I just love that.  I collect chicken nic-nacs, and that sure is nice.  Is there a name or number on the bottom?  It looks old.  If not it is a nice piece anyhow. :D

I was given a beautiful leaded glass cockerel made by my neighbour a couple of days ago.  As soon as the sun shines I'll post a picture of it.

Can we change the name of this Topic to "Chicken Memorabilia" Rose then we can all add our 'chickeny stuff' pictures to it    :D

Have have alot of old things, salt&pepper shakers, canister sets, clocks, very old cookies jars,x-mas tree ornaments, old egg cartons from the 20's,chicken candlers from the 30's, I'll take pics of things after x-mas getting a dig. camra, the one I have is broke.  Everything I have is early 60's or later.  oh except for a salt & pepper set I bought from Tiffany's in New Yourk City, $80.00, but it goes up in value every so many years.

Ahhh, you all have very nice things.  I like the wooden one made by hand.  Kinda what we call Folk Art.  Very nice.  I am going to enjoy this  topic.

My mum had one of those brown chicken things (egg container) when I was a kid.  Don't know what happened to it.

Rather like the wood Rooster.

those are really nice.  No markings on them?  I don't care for ducks, but I like the blue print.  Not sure what design it is though.  You have some interesting things.  I like the painting on the metal one also.  Very nice

Not quite chicken, but this turkey platter & six plates come out every year. Bought by my late father for my mother 57 years ago. 'Barnyard King' pattern. Currently $42 a plate on ebay.

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
