Mowing small lawns?
« on: April 26, 2017, 17:35 »
I've got two small lawns about 6ft square each in our cottage garden.

I've patched up with some turf the ugliest bits and will now leave it to get going but can anyone recommend a mower/means of cutting the grass to get a good lawn in the end?

TIA

With small lawns like that you might be better off with an old fashioned push along rotary mower.  You can pick them up second hand for very little money, but get it sharpened.

Regular mowing is the key and that can be a lot less faff with a small mower that you pull out of the shed and just get going with.

I used to use one at my last place as we had a tiny lawn  :)
