It's windy, cloudy but 22C and humid *weird*

Sun trying to break through but needs to try harder - it's only 15C at the moment and breezy with it.

Forecast was a maximum of 28C here, currently 28.8C (84F) ('official' shade temperature according to my online local weather station.)

Not just the plants that are wilting, although the humidity is a relatively low 41% at the moment.

28 here on the Island at 9am when I left to go to England to see my Granddaughter.  She started to get very fractious and I told my daughter to drop me back off at the Red Jet to go  home and take her home to Romsey and  cool off.  We did stay most of the time within the West Quay shopping center which is air conditioned.

We are staying in a quaint little rented holiday cottage in Dickleburgh, south Norfolk, and it has been warm (24C) and mainly sunny but breezy here today.

Looking at the lawns here some rain would be welcome - not sure about that myself, although forecast not too bad at least for the next few days.

It has been warm and overcast all day, with just enough rain at lunchtime to wet the path. Walked literally around the corner to the allotment and that had had a good soaking. Picked peas and came home with soaked through trainers and jeans wet almost to knee level  Weather is weird
