Last time I accidentally spilt jeyes on my grass it died!    :(

Why would you want to put hard wood chips on top of grass in a chicken run?

Something like stalosan F which has been talked about on here for the past few days would be better to sprinkle around the almost grassless run before the wood chips!   ;) ;)

Jeyes fluid used to be used as a soil sanitizer but that is no longer the case.  I think they advise against it now as the chemicals could potentially get in to produce grown in the soil.  Please correct me if I am misquoting.   :)

I think I read that Jeyes should not now be used on soil  - as in illegal. I could, of course, have got that wrong. :)
