My Autumn Bliss raspberrys look as though they have most of them decided not to shoot for some reason and may have to be replaced.

Am I too late to plant some more?

What are the best varieties?

I would still plant some more. We have Tulameen raspberries in the garden. Beautiful large berries with a great taste. Only thing is they are summer fruiting ones. I don't think it's too late though to plant some. We used to have Autumn Bliss but the berries are small broke up easily and taste was ok but not great.
It all depends on personal taste at the end of the day.

At worst you won't get any this year. However, they'll be better established come next season and will give you a better crop than planting them early next year.

I have Autumn Bliss and Polka, and the Polka is deffo the best of the two.

My Autumn raspberries are Joan J.  They are fantastic - large, very tasty and prolific.
