I think there is. The flower colour isn't important, if it looks like comfrey leaves and flowers, it's probably some member of the comfrey family. I'm sure a similar variety to what you're describing grows in the churchyard flowerbeds and it certainly acts like comfrey (the more they dig the more it comes up).

Ok it's flowered now deffo a weed  :(  gonna feed it to the guinea pigs  :lol:

Sow Thistle it is. Mind you it looked quite ornate as it grew, flowers are a real disappointment. Gives the game away.  :wink:

definately a weed that would make a lovely addition to any self-respecting compost bin  :wink:
