Anyone grown 'Mayan Gold'?

Another plotter has told me, he only grows Mayan Gold potatoes. He absolutly raves about them.

I've not heard of them, anyone here heard of them and grow them??

Rate or slate them....?

They make the most luscious roast potatoes ever  :D

Mayan Gold are a slightly different species of potato: there are several of these now developed, but imho MG is the best

Not a massive cropper, but well worth the space  :D

Are they an early cropper though, the web site I just goggled says 'early main cropper'?

Someone please make their mind up... Are they early or main crop??   ::)

They're on my list for next year.  :D   :lol:

Order them around October, as they do sell out quite quickly from the bigger suppliers, and then you end up paying loads more via the well known popular catalogue folk like T&M etc
