Hi, ive seen some plans for coops out of pallets and wondered if you could use silicone to seal the joints.

i use exterior flexible sealer and decorators caulk for the joints in mine, though if you use tongue and groove timber it wont need it. Obviously pallet plants dont have this but if you have a router you could do your own. If you chamfer the edges you can overlap the boards a bit and this will cut draughs down, then just a dab of sealent along the edges :D

I'd be cautious - our girls have recently decided that pulling the sealant out of the edge of our patio doors is a fun game, then once they've got some they run around the garden with it and try and eat it. Keep having to block the doors off and prise bits of sealant off them before they swallow it!
