Hate to admit it but I love those tins of beans and sausages. Reminds me of camping.

I went with tuna pasta bake and over ate  it made for an uncomfortable night and I still don't feel the best, too much to eat but not enough to leave . There's chicken casserole in the slowcooker for tonight, if things settle down, 1Kgs of legs were on offer for just £1.50  not normally my thing but at that price it would have been rude not to have them.

I'm going to strip the meat off a couple of chicken drumsticks, and stir-fry them with veg and sweet chilli sauce, rice to go with them. Probably indigestion as well

One pot chicken & chorizo with peppers,carrots & potatoes on top in chicken stock with a jar of my own passata which is proving rather popular with hubby( do you think I could get him to learn how to bottle it? Lol)

Busy week for me with late nights at work every day, so big slap up home cooked meal tonight eh?  Er no, chip shop tea    - I blame Lardman and John (oh and the CBA fairy)

I don't mind taking one for the team  but go on admit it, there's something so good about the smell of chips on a cold, crisp autumnal night 

There's more chicken casserole if I want it tonight I'm not a fan though, I don't know why but I find chicken dishes deeply unsatisfying. I might swap with ML, I was going to make her sawhedges, mash and spoonstanding onion gravy.

I dreamt last night of Greece  so tonight I'm having Gyros style pork, salad and lemon potatoes, may even go all out and make some Tzatziki and pretend

I always loved the food when we holidayed in Greece. Beef Stifado was a favourite. Never had gyros though - they sound nice. Love tizzy tocky in the summer with a salad.
How do you do the lemon potatoes?
Oddest meal in Greece was a little beach cafe that started doing English Braekfast (sic) - sausage, bacon, egg, uncooked tomato and slices of cucumber!

We had hm pasta with bolognaise from the freezer,hm baguettes flavoured with garlic followed by American apple cake ala Mary Berry

I thought I must have posted the Greek lemon potatoes recipe before but couldn't find it, so I've done it now

97% pork sausages - I thought, I know a one pot casserole.   Cooked the bangers in the oven in the casserole with the lid on.  Brilliant, no smell.   2 saucepans, 1 glass jug, 2 colanders, and 2 casserole dishes later.
After all that I still hadn't cooked it down enough, and it wasn't very nice.   Loads left over, so shall have to try again tomorrow
