Not sure if this is a silly question. Do Pekin cockerel's make as much noise as a standard cockerel, or are they a relatively quiet bird?

Its not a silly question at all.  They can be quite high pitched and shrill, but it really depends on the individual bird. 

My little lads are Seramas and they are not as loud as a full sized cockerel.  They just don't have the lung capacity for that.  They are loud enough though.  They don't crow a lot - just a quick go around 7.00am and then maybe a couple of times during the day.  The neighbours are not bothered by them, but they could be if I was unlucky.
